New Yorker是少數我在紐約會定期看的雜誌，在紐約有很多雜誌可以看，有些雜誌店裡琳琅滿目的雜誌搞得你頭昏眼花，有時候ㄧ呆在雜誌店就沒完沒了。但是一直讀英文實在也是一件很累的事，所以平常固定看Village Voice 及Timeout外，最常看的就是New Yorker了。

I will go with Joe G.! I think he is a smart guy with some smart

P.S. 之前說過我會為印第安加油的，但說實在，心裡還蠻希望C.C.爆炸
的，因為....這讓小王沒這麼難看，之前也曾寄望小貝爆的，但看來看去

雖然之前說過，我並不討厭紅襪，但我確信了今年之後的季後賽
，我將為Indians加油，原因是，美國優質青年Grady Sizemore-
我今年季後賽的偶像。優質青年，是姊姊取的，說他看起來像美國
典型大學裡的優質青年。

每年季後賽我會選一隊加油，去年我選了紅雀，沒想到他們沒令我
失望。摸家老三Yadier Molina瞇瞇的笑臉及強肩，在NLCS
Game 7.九局打出逆轉全壘打，而菜鳥Wainwright雖然顫抖著雙腿
，但還是不負所望完成救援，為紅雀守下了世界大賽。兩個是我去
年的小英雄。

而今年我要為Sizemore加油。（雖然他是小王剋星:P）

Update:Rockies拿到國聯冠軍了，雖然我是挺Diamondbacks的
，但是我當初就覺得Rox會拿冠軍，他們會何這麼旺？

最進紐約媒體的焦點除了放在Joe Torre及A-Rod的身上，也有人開始
公開喊話要洋基跟雙城談交易Johan Santana的可能性，至於交易的籌
碼，也由於小王季後賽差強人意的表現，他的名字開始被拿出來除了
再次鞭打之外，也名列交易名單的首選，過去連兩年19勝的汗馬功勞
一夕成空，我一向有在讀的Newsdays的洋基blog-on the yankees
beat的主筆KAT O'BRIEN也把小王拿出來鞭屍，說he is no ace...
blah blah blah...說什麼Joba is the one....令我老生火大，決定以後
都不看她的blog了。我也不否認自己其實是那種愛國球迷，護小王的
心很重，縱使心裡也對小王是不是個true ace也有些疑問，但是心裡
氣的是，當王建民表現好的時候，是誰把他一手捧上天，如今出了差
錯就一腳踹開。這畢竟是現實，紐約媒體更是現實的表徵。

心裡雖然很氣，還是對小王要被交易的傳言很擔心，還寫了封信給
Peter Abreham說是否有從洋基高層聽到這樣的傳聞，他居然在一個
小時內回信給我，他肯定是很挺小王的，令人很欣慰。我信中除了問
及傳言的可信度，還附上了自己對交易的感想，並也對Peter說自己也
不相信小王是ture ace,但是他這麼回了我：you should give him more
credit,He has the most wins in baseball the last two years.
That makes him a true ace.感人啊！至於傳聞，他只寫了一句：
I do not believe they will trade Wang.

不可否認當ALCS Game 1. C.C. Sabathia被打爆時，我的心裡也暗自
高興，C.C.是今年跟小貝同為最被看好的賽揚獎候選人，但若他也被打
爆的話，小王被打爆也不是什麼稀奇了，只不過小王今年沒有下一場
可以證明自己，而C.C.有。小王第一場被打爆後被迫在休三天之後且
沒時間調整缺點的情況下再次被打爆，個人覺得Game 4的第一局，失第
二分的兩隻安打有點運氣不佳，不過這是pitch to contact 類型的投手
所要承擔的風險，只是季後賽短賽程的比賽，風險就是危險。而第二局
的觸身球根本就是打者超會演的，只能說運氣不站在小王這邊。哎～

The season ended ,Wang didn't make it.It's sad but he need to deal with it regardless of all the success he has done ,he just need to deal with the toughness in his career,all I can say is to get through it, just like we all need to get through our hard time in our life.

寫在Game2之後

今年的洋基特別令人興奮，原因是，他們克服了季初的大低潮，
並且開始重用農場，新人人人有機會證明自己，這也讓很多人
寄望他們拼進世界大賽，徹底實踐運動家精神與創造寓言哲學
的動人故事。

所以，不想看到好不容易拼來的外卡，在三天內失去，如今兩
敗，期望他們bounce back,我有預感，小王在Game 4 上場
並且完封。

It seems like he will stay with Dodgers.It's just a second guess,would Proctor be this good if he stayed as a Yankee?And would yank's pen perform better if Proctor's still around?There is no answer now, but for me Yankees will have a much better pen when Proctor is around even when he is struggling, but you never know when Torre will send his arm to Columbia University Medical Center to get examed.So maybe it is good for the way it is.

小王在季後賽被打爆了，也許大家無法理解，也許很多人早已預期。小王到底是不是個Ace，這個爭論不斷，對我來說這不是個問題，我所在意的是，小王如何面對他的成功與他的失敗，人生中的成功正如同失敗一般難以承受，都是必須好好面對的課題，他的伸卡球讓他嚐到在大聯盟成功的滋味，但是同樣也讓他嘗盡失敗的苦。希望他能從失敗中學習經驗，find a way through....
